Rivermen defenseman Roman Polak, who has missed the last 33 games since he suffered a broken ankle Dec. 7 against Quad City, was cleared Tuesday. Polak didn't play against the Aeros, but is expected in the lineup Friday against San Antonio.

Polak's return takes some of the sting away from Wagner being gone 4-6 weeks. Ryan Reeves should be returning soon.

Great news! Now trade someone so we get to see him kick ass in the NHL.

Really looking forward to seeing Pola'k next year.
I'm a lot more excited about seeing him in the lineup than I am Wagner.

Wagner is a more complete player but Polak is sure fun to watch hit someone.

I'm not sure I'd say Wagner is a more complete player.
He's definitely the better skater, and more offensive talent.
Polak players better positionally in his end, and plays much
more physical.

Must admit my opinion is biased... I love defenseman that
can hit a ton! :)

No Pola'k tonight for the Rivermen.

Defensemen dressed: Ryan Glenn, Alex Brooks, Aaron Mackenzie, Micki Dupont, Alexander Hellström, Tyson Strachan.

Polak may return tonight in Quad City. With Woywitka and Polak on the ice, Tyson Strachan shouldn't see much ice time. He hasn't been a physical presence and only had one fight. He does use his size.
Ryan Reeves has just started skating before practice and hasn't stayed for practice. Maybe next week he will be wearing the "No Touch" gold jersey in practice.
