Hiller did a great job, covering the stick side of the net. 3-0 Blues!

Yo someone needs to pound carter for that shit. At least there was a half-makeup call on that "hook" on Carlo.

Speaking of Carlo, good thing he scored, because he has been utter garbage defensively today.

We need another goal to make sure Giggy gives up one.

Great game by the Blues!! Anaheim just can't play their game tonight, too many defensive lapses.

Needless to say, this performance is substantially better. :)

Good to know. You are not allowed to watch the Blues ever again. Sorry.

Well, I suppose if they lose one you're off the hook and can resume viewing at your convenience.

Conklin was able to cover for some turnovers in our end, but otherwise the defense played fairly well. I was most excited by the puck movement on offense, especially during the power play. Great game to watch.

The way this site has been ripping on Oshie the past week is quite necessary. However, even though his goal was a "fluke" he played a great game in all aspects tonight. Andy McDonald did what he does best, and i really enjoyed the positioning on Strachan tonight. And when we play the Pens, i sure hope the people on this site arent as optimistic as they were before tonights game...5-0 Blues, yeah some people just piss me off.

Observation:

In the 2008 draft, the Blues took Alex Pietrangelo #4 overall. The Rangers took Michael Del Zotto #20 overall. Pietrangelo is getting jerked around in favor of guys like Mike Weaver and Daryl Sydor whilst Del Zotto is playing at a point per game rate through the first 8 games of his career on a high flying Rangers team.

Maybe I'm being a bit picky, but the Rangers have exactly two big names (Gaborik and Lundqvist) and they're all--the whole damn team--playing light years better in Torts system than the Blues are playing in Murrays system.

There's a reason why some people (i.e. this guy) wanted the Blues to ax Murray and sign Torts.
