I think it's likely Murray will be fired after the Tampa game. Just wait until tomorrow or Sunday.

And still nothing from Dollar Dave. Is he still aware that he owns a hockey team?

I'm glad, in a way, that I was tired enough last night to go to sleep instead of forcing myself to stay awake to watch this abomination. I quickly glanced at the score while I was picking up bagels a 1/2 hour ago and suffice to say I was not shocked at all.

I'm also not shocked to see that Murray is still the coach of this team.

Does this make me suck as a fan?

Yes, but how do you calibrate it for this team? Carrot Top isn't sucky enough.

The more concerning question is whether Jackman and Steen are able to see the other team's players (specifically someone named Halpern) sitting at the back door of our net all night untouched.

At least if we could see the other teams' players the Blues could play to their reactions on where the puck is

Yes.

I need to repent for the awful manner in which I expect more from this team.

More of us should be like bob essensa and just be satisfied with sub-mediocrity.

And still no word from Dollar Dave. Great speech, Dollar Dave. So this is good enough for you?

Apparently management and in particular Larry Pleau ripped the team a new one after the Tampa game. Larry was quoted as saying, "I can't trade any of you because no one wants you." After the doors were open to the media, all the players were still sitting with their gear on in the locker room.

This comes from Miklask and Strickland. Not sure how accurate, but hope it's true. Whether Murray is here or not...just about every single player is underachieving.

In reading Strickland's blog (http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Andy-Str ... ed/5/25026), he seems to be pointing a lot of fingers at Kariya. Perhaps if we can't move him, we're best off sitting him, or even sending him home -- sorta like what Bob Gainey did to Alex Kovalev in February last year....

Just thoughts....

The most frustrating part is that they are all just making really simple mistakes. Playing with your heart only goes so far if you're not playing with your head. I would have at least one "back to basics" practices to just chill everyone out and try to get past the simple things like timing, forwards playing defense, etc. If you got problems in the basic aspects of the game there's no point trying to tackle the harder stuff.

That's awesome what Larry said.

After reading Strick's blog I don't understand why they are so obssessed with Murray and are so far away from firing him, I dont get it.

Face it: they can talk about "blaming the players" and "accountability" and all this other crap, but there's another phrase that describes a team that's going to be the first in history to blame the players and keep the below-average coach: "Dollar Dave's Penny-Pinchers".
