3 people out of 38 (8%) chose the Devils to beat the Flyers.

5 people out of 38 (13%) chose the Coyotes to beat the Preds.

26 people out of 38 (68%) chose the Rangers to beat the Caps.

4 out of 38 (11%) chose the Kings to beat the Blues.

Doesn't look like Round 2 was good for anyone. Checking the spreadsheet, no one got more than 2 picks correct. By far, the most common prediction was Rangers, Flyers, Blues, Preds.

The form is up now on the main page.
Sorry for the delay. I meant to put it up yesterday but got busy with holiday things and ran out of time.

Why do I feel like there should be a place to guess the number of goals scored in the final on the linky? Am I mis-remembering something again?

Thanks for getting the next link up, Curt. And thank you for taking your time to get it all together.

I don't follow big Dan.
There is an option to guess the total goals scored in the finals.

And you are welcome. I just need to get around to writing the formula for totaling up the first few rounds.

Looking forward to seeing the results...and seeing our playoff "win" banner quietly fade away. :P

Was going to total them up tonight, but Google Docs was deleting the contents of cells in the spreadsheets when I would select them...which was a huge issue...and kind of scary.
I didn't lose any data, thankfully.
I found that other folks have had this issue...but I can't seem to find a solid fix...and folks have been having this issue for a couple years or so...with no real solution.
I have a couple of "maybe" fixes that I found...so we'll see.

One fix involves a BIOS update, but the updater tool isn't compatible with 64bit OS's, which is what I have (Win7 64). So that's not usable.

Very odd and irritating.
I'll get it fixed eventually and have the results posted as soon as I can.

I think the Stanley Cup Finals was the first time all playoffs that I selected the correct winning team in the correct number of games. I didn't do so hot overall but it was fun as always!

First round and the final was all I did good on.

Sorry for the delay in getting this done.
I've been uber-busy at home and at work this week...haven't had much time at all.

But it's finally done.

And with a total of 24 pts. the winner is.....

philco_3

PGABluesFan also finished with 24 pts., but he failed to submit any picks for the finals and lost on the fact that he didn't submit a tiebreaker either.
So philco_3 wins on the tiebreaker.

This, of course, depends on the theory that my formulas are all accurate.
So double check your numbers guys.

A notable accomplishment is that TheoSqua guessed the Kings in 6 in the finals AND also got the tiebreaker exactly right...24 goals scored. Which netted him a total of 7 pts. in the finals. Very nicely done.

Congrats philco_3!
I'll get your bragging rights signature to you as soon as I find the .psd file for it. And now that I think about it...I don't think I ever made fbrocklen's winning sig from last year.
I'll have to do them at the same time.

Here are the final standings:

Not that it matters, but I thought the tiebreaker only counted toward your point total in the event of a tie for 1st place (like you and I had in 2010, Curt).

Congrats philco!

Um, I don't know why I don't have any points in two of the rounds...wondering if your formulas or data is missing?

Edit: cause somehow it's showing in two places on the list

Wow :aaaa: I thought for sure someone else would have done way better than 24 pts, I know those second round picks killed me.

19 points not too shabby especially considering I made my 1st round picks without even knowing who would be in the playoffs or who was playing who. Congratulations Philco

16 points in the first round?

That's just amazing.

Your bias towards Oregon-based posters ever winning is as clear as Bettman's never letting a Canadian team win the Stanley Cup!!1!1!! It's obvious there's some sort of conspiracy at work here...
