Just saw the lineup on the post-dispatch and I really don't see why Hitch is putting Dags on the fourth line. I think the fourth line did an excellent job in Game 1, and since Reavo and Beener are essentially the same type of player I would've kept Langs on there and hoped for Dags to be able to create something on the third instead. Dags already played on the fourth line for some time when he came back and was in all honesty disastrous. In my opinion Dags does not have the charachteristics to be playing on 4th. Langs do.

Well, we'll see.

Blues 3
Sharks 1

One question: are the Blues going to play a "man's game" tonight, as they have been touted as possessing, or are they going to play a goddamned motherf***ing pansy game like they did in Game 1?

And don't give me that bullshit about how we outplayed the Sharks... that game was generally boring for a good portion of it, devoid of almost all hitting. Watching LA and PHI is all the proof anyone should need to know the Blues aren't being physical and aggressive enough.

I won't make a prediction. Just franking win.

I love listening to the Sharks announcers, but they really not find anybody else for CNBC?

CNBC mikes the games terribly too. Can't hear a single sound from down on the ice and can barely hear the crowd.

Plus San Jose is kinda taking it to us so far...

Man we were really trying to piss this period away there... Let's hope for PP to do something. Look pretty good so far.

I read on Twitter that the crowd was into it much more than Game 1, but you can't hear anything. Terrible job on the sound. Further, what is this friend/foe business with other posters? We have friends and foes on here? And yes, the Blues look pretty bad so far.

Our trusty ol' captain Vadid Baseck. Big time player for us, haven't you heard?

That goal was so weird. I mean obviously Vlasic missed the clear, but from the look of it, if he had connected the puck like he wanted to he would still just have cleared it right at the back of Niemi's pad. I don't really know what he tried to do there but we'll take it...

Btw, Halak really saved us in the first. Blues have been looking very uninspired so far.

We just sent off the guy with the 5th best GAA on the season for the guy who had the best GAA on the year. Nice problem to have.

If we needed any further proof, this is a different team with Elliott in net.
