Gutsy win!!! Blues now need to come out skating like gangbusters in Game 3, and win the series, going away!

If the Blues don't take 10 minute off per game - they dominate the Predators. Post-game interviews with Steve Thomas and Mike Yeo claiming the Blues played hard for 60 minutes - BS! The Blues played hard for most of the 1st period until Pietrangelo's mistake. They started playing hard again at the start of the major to get that first goal. Then they skated around not generating crap in the 2nd period. After the Predators took the lead in the 3rd, the Blues started working again. Were it not for Forsberg's bonehead play - which is an automatic call - I'm not sure the Blues get it back in this game. Refs had put their whistles away, again. Final minutes following Tarasenko's game-winner, the game was all Nashville with a couple of questionable icing calls. I don't see Nashville capable of maintaining that level of play, though, while the Blues can - they just need to do it for a 2 whole games in Nashville and end this crap in Game 5.

At least the Blues are a better road playoff team than home playoff team.

Still laughing at Pierre's pre-game talk about how the Predators won Game 1. He claimed Nashville won, because the Blues had no forecheck, yet never mentioned special teams play. How does a team tie a game with 3 even strength goals without a forecheck?

I wonder what the Not Blues Crew will claim as to why the Predators lost.

I forgot to add - dear Alex Pietrangelo, pull your head out your butt!! You've looked like crap these last two games.

Not back in it until we regain home ice. Game 3 is as much a must win as game 2 was.

2 games, 2 3rd period comebacks. Nashville can't feel good about that.

I wouldn't hate having the 3rd period lead though, instead of needing to come back.

Any word on Fiddler? I think the ejection was clearly justified. And, in regular season, I think he might be looking at a short suspension to boot. I'm unsure whether to expect a playoff suspension though.

He should miss at least one game for a deliberate knee on knee, and coming from the outside.

The last thing this team would need is to lose Parayko. Great he's ok, hopefully no lingering effects going forward.

A few notes:

1. To reinterate my previous post: Subban ain't s***.
2. Pekka Rinne really ain't s***
3. Fiddler is a punk b**** along with the Preds team. Didn't they know that Colt 55 is not your average Malt Liqour? Can't send a light beer like Fiddler to do that job.
4. Ignore the goals against, Jake Allen is coming through when it matters the most. This series is really that even-money.
5. When we fall behind, we are finding ways to win. Yeo's instilled something into these guys and it'll be an amazing thing if he turned out to be the missing piece, but if they're accepting votes for that sort of thing, I'm casting mine for Brodeur.
6. Bridgestone Arena ain't s***.
7. I have to say this series is so ridiculously offhand with the amount of penalties the Zebras -aren't- calling. The ones they are calling are convincing me that someone should nominate Nashville for the Best Actor Oscar.

In any case, once again, stay out of the penalty box and if the Preds do give us 5 power plays, can we please capitalize on more than just one?

Go Blues Go!!
