The Blues play Pittsburgh tonight in Cranberry, PA, in The Kraft Hockeyville Game.

The Pens are playing a mix of veterans and kids, as are The Blues. Hutton in goal again.

Nothing either Pietrangelo or Hutton could do on that 2 on 1. Kuentzel puts it in. Pens lead 1-0.

Good that Blais didn't give up on that lost puck, and ended up keeping it in. He really seems to feel at home playing The NHL game. I'm positive he'll make the final cut, and end up playing on The 3rd, or possibly even The 2nd Line.

Hutton and the penalty killers have done great on the 5 on 3, so far. And they kill it off!

Nice blasts by Parayko, Schenn and Megan. Nothing going in, so far.

Great kill by The Blues! Hutton looks sharp. Good positioning and rebound control.

Blais really elevated his game in the AHL last season after a relatively slow start. I'm excited to see what he can contribute at the NHL level. Getting a roster spot will be a whole lot easier with all the injuries, so let's see if he can run with it.

That said, the list of the wounded is pretty extensive, now that we can add Fabbri again. I hope Yeo has the good sense to let the kids run with it while the regulars are out and see who can stick rather than playing middling 4th line journeymen in their stead. In particular, I'd like to see what Blais and Musil can do at the NHL level.

Yet another excellent save by Hutton. He's bailed out The Blues from defensive breakdowns all night. He took over that last PK by himself. He should get The First Star.

I think Blais and Megan might make the final cut. I don't think Thompson, Thomas, or Kostin will. I think Schmaltz will make it, but probably not Dunn or Walman.
