I would have loved to go to this one, but I work late Tuesdays and Thursdays so no luck. Followed along at work though, when I logged onto nhl.com at about 7:15ish I wasn't expecting to see 1-1 already.
Bummed about the failed 5-3 PP, did they get any shots off on that? I can't fault them for tired legs after a shootout the day before. Get some rest and let's go 5-0 on Thursday night! Every win with all the key guys missing is huge, and getting them back will be like making one big blockbuster trade.
I don't remember that PP being a total disaster even though we didn't score. Seemed like we controlled the puck mostly (I think they cleared it once maybe twice) and moved it to the front of the net, especially later in the 5 on 3, but just couldn't get it in. Didn't score on a 5 on 3 that lasted for over a minute though, so I'm not going to call it a good PP either lol.
