Good kill by Canada!
Great save by Oettinger on Mete on that breakaway, keeping it at 2-0!

USA with the 2-man advantage for 2 minutes. This is their chance to get back in the game.

Canada gets it back quickly!! Jake Bean from the point. But it's being reviewed. Did it result from a hand pass? Should be a clean goal. And it is! 3-1 Canada!!!

Bellows blasted in a one-timer on the 5 on 3. To get USA within one. But Canada scored soon after. 3-1 Canada at the end of 2. USA's got work to do. They've got the skill to catch up, and Canada shouldn't get complacent. Should be interesting.

Thomas has been credited with a tip-in goal on Bean's shot on the 3rd goal. Good for him!

I hope it's decided in OT. I hate to see a tournament game decided by a shootout.

Canada certainly has had their chances in OT - a 2 on 1 and a 2 on 1, but only hit the post, to show for it.

The dreaded shootout.

USA wins in the shootout. Oettinger was good, and Hart was not.

Finland has just tied the game on a goal about 1 minute after scoring a shorty. New game. 9.5 minutes left. Nervous time.

Still tied with 3.5 min. left.

I like the way Kostin plays. He goes to the net a lot. He plays a chippy, physical game. He plays with determination. I haven't watched any of his AHL games, only seen highlights. So, I don't know why he hasn't been scoring much there. But, unlike the skeptics, who think he was overhyped,

I can see he has enough skill, and like his style of play. He's already got a good body for an 18-year old, and will get significantly stronger. He seems to be an average skater. I hope he can work on his skating, and get it above average, to where it can be an added weapon.
