Scarier is the fact that out here in God's country I can't hear a one of 'em. Nice to know a tornado could come along and slam down on the house with no warning.
If you your parents had broadband, we could email you an alert about the tornado. Oh well.
, are you askin' for trouble.
I just made the mistake of calling Worldnet support in the hope I might get someone competent (or even, perhaps, with a rudimentary grasp of the English language) on the line, but no. Of course, the connection also didn't fail while I was on the phone with them, so I said (jokingly, obviously), "What'll probably happen is that the connection will be perfect, faster than normal, etc., while I'm on the phone with you, but as soon as I hang up, the connection will get dropped." His response? "Well, ma'am, I do not believe that to be the cause of the problem." Dude was condescending to me! I was getting ready to light into him but I'm just not in the mood to be enraged tonight.
Oh, and while I was typing this, I was bumped twice. Yippee!
