The very strange part is even if the plane rammed straight into the ocean parts of the plane like luggage and seats should come to the surface but they've found NOTHING!

I think it was likely pilot suicide or some passenger took over and took the plane down. The motive is very strange. Why take a plane down with 240 people when you could just kill yourself on your own?

There are some bizarre conspiracy theories out there!

I'm very centrist politically and tend to watch CNN as a result. But, CNN is 100% unwatchable right now because of this. I hope they find it for the sake of the families of the passengers. I can't imagine how tough this is on them. But, my god, the media coverage of this is over the top. Thankfully I get BBC now which is tolerable.

Yeah, CNN is going almost 24 hours a day on this! Now they say they haven't heard the pings in 4 days and the search could take MONTHS!

Months? The French flight in Brazil a few years ago took 2+ years, they knew about where it crashed, and they still were about to give up until they got kinda lucky. Again, I hope they find the plane. Those families deserve closure. But, there's only so much that can be said about it.

Sure, it could take years or maybe never. I guess on CNN they said months because if they said years a lot of viewers would tune out!

I saw an infographic that put it into perspective how deep the Malaysion plane was, if it is where they think it is. Way deeper than the Titanic.
Don't be surprised if they never find it.

Here it is (too big to fit on the forum):

What's mind boggling is they just said on CNN they could be looking in the WRONG OCEAN! It seems that info they got from British intelligence could be totally wrong! Talk about a disaster, and in more ways than one!

Like I said...they'll probably never find it...and if they do, it will probably be by accident....someone doing something else at the bottom of the ocean 300 years from now or something.

Tragic but true. We KNEW where the Titanic was yet it took over 50 years to actually locate it. There is a technology that allows us to track planes in real time so this can't happen again. But as always it comes down to money and it would cost a lot of money to outfit ALL planes with it and therefore ticket prices would have to go up!
