Re: W. T. F.

Look you pansies: This is still a TRANSITIONAL period. These youngsters are doing well. Johnson's upside is TREMENDOUS. Completely agree. But in my opinion we a still one-two top offensive payers away from being true contender and two-three years away players development wise. Today I surfed hockey...

Re: Trade Speculation

I really think that it would be suicide to trade Petro for a "win now." The defense is obviously still a few years from cup caliber, but you don't trade Petro to speed it up, that's not an answer. From what I've seen of Petro, he's already got steady positional play and will be huge in keeping arou...

Re: Trade Speculation

In this respect what about: Kaberle +Ponikarovsky (approx. 7-8 mil. combined) for Pietro, Brewer and maybe + draft pick (around 7 mil.combined counting Pie's salary). Basically this deal is about Kaberle for Pietro. Throwing Brewer - is just getting rid of his contract and evening salaries for the ...

Re: Trade Speculation

The only player Blues might be interested on Leafs roster is Kaberle. He is the asset. And he would make immediate impact on our play. Having acquired Kaberle the Blues would have their top 4 D set for the years and it'd be one of the best and well balanced in NHL (IMHO): EJ - Polak, Kaberle - Jackm...

Re: Fire Murray?

Interesting perspective from some Kings fans when am was hired. If you didn't read any of this, here are some highlights. Mind you this was written by Kings fans over 2 years ago (almost 3 now)... it is kind of creepy how dead on some of their comments are. Apologizies for the length . He will do m...

Re: What to do?

Well, the board has spoken. While some are content to wait it out, many would like a trade, but most people won't "the Mur" gone. I'm not gonna argue against it. There really isn't an objective argument that supports keeping him. Perhaps if the Blues want the high expectations to be realized RIGHT ...

Re: What to do?

I'd choose to fire Murray but the poll misses one option I'm starting to be all for - just to tan the season  and draft in top 5 and possibly in top 3 a star player instead of trading for it This is bullshit. ++ OK. How about this scenario: management keeps Murray, he looses the players compl...

Re: Dave Checketts Unhappy With Blues' Effort

Yeah, gotta disagree with the "Premiere coaching" statement. That's just not true. What has Murray ever done to warrant being called a "premiere coach"? I hope he's gone before December...but I doubt he will be. He'll be around until at least Xmas. We do have great young talent and excellent goalte...

Re: Fire Murray?

- No power play. - Lackluster offense. - Underachieving players. - Failure to hold veterans accountable for their mistakes. - 1 regulation win in our last 7 games. - Under .500 record for a team that is supposed to be a playoff team. Murray is on the fast track to getting fired. Will anyone be upse...
