Re: Holy Sh*t...Steve Jobs has died

"Holy Shit"... as in you're surprised? The dude has been circling the drain for quite awhile, hasn't he? The guy is a global icon...one of the greatest minds of our time...maybe of all time. I wasn't surprised. Just stunned. Big difference. You knew it was coming...but it's still shocking. All time...

[quote="Ruutu15"] 1- I don't mean to sound callous, because that isn't my intention. But, kids are killed coast to coast on a daily basis. Half of the people who are so drawn into this are drawn in solely based on the reality TV factor. "Damn the kids who are being killed in downtown St. Louis this ...

Re: Any interest in Blues acquiring Ryan Smyth?

I see way more of the West Coast games on Center Ice and was always a big Smyth fan. Would loved to have seen him as a Blue if the right deal could have been made, but I'll be happy seeing him in Edmonton again with its crazy-ass goal horn.

Re: Jeff Carter Traded to BJ's, Mike Richards to LA

I hate to be that guy, but the Carter trade is one we absolutely should've been able to best. Except the Blues don't have a (new) owner and Armstrong still doesn't have a budget for the upcoming year unless things have changed. I do love Philly blowing themselves up every year, provides epic fodder...

Re: The Unofficial Jon Hamm Hat Contest

I'm sure you've all seen the hat I'm talking about: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_qx9ERbvwESc/StM9MKM1ZEI/AAAAAAAAAxI/j48WAuXqRcc/s320/vlcsnap-2009-10-12-09h24m04s145.jpg That's pretty dirty and old (but not 15 years old), but I'm sure some of us have a Blues hat in worse shape. Post up your pics! Can ...

Hadley (WTF?) and Eklund mentioned in the same thread? Can the return of Frank Cusamano be far behind? Oh, what sad times are these for a shrubber.

Blueline posted here up until not too long ago...but Nsane is an odd story. I heard that she was pissed at me because someone told her I was reading everyone's PM's...which of course is a ridiculous lie. I sent her a message about it, but never heard from her. :? Strange that Nsane would leave over...

Plusity plus-plus. I'm sure there are Hawks fans disappointed in the team being torn apart, but I'm betting they are waaaay outnumbered by those happy their team won the Cup.
