Re: God Hates Lady Gaga

Are you suggesting that Lady Gaga is a "hot chick singer"? There may actually be 3 things wrong with that statement. Impressive, considering that it's only 3 words. Maybe my standards are just lower, but I think hot and chick are both correct. My girlfriend asked me what I thought of her music, and...

Re: GDT: Blues v Preds FSMW (no dish)

Anybody expecting a defenseman to come into the NHL from juniors and be great is clueless. NHL defensemen take about 5 years to develop properly, give or take a year. in other words, Jackman right now is pretty much the player he will always be and EJ is about 4 years away. You should NEVER give up...

Re: Here how it be...

so you guys think that 30 freaking games is all the players fault??? It was never a matter of horrible, sure there was some, but it was the most boring hockey I've ever seen. That is the coaches fault. I think we can all agree that Murray is super stubborn. Although not a black and white issue I ma...

Re: Budweiser American Ale...

I've kept an eye out for it, but haven't seen it, though I just tried Schlafly's Pumpkin ale and was pleasantly surprised. I've always preferred cascade pale as a home brew staple because the ingredients are less expensive and fresher (grown locally which is I guess why they call it an American Ale)...

Re: Rams

I do agree with you about the defense, obviously, but when the offense goes 3 and out on every possession, those guys were worn out. Remember that it was still "only" (haha) a 21 point deficit at halftime, and the D had been on the field for the majority of the half at that point. I'm not arguing y...

Re: I hate cops

I don't lump all cops into that category of power-abusing adrenaline-addicted sadistic jagoff.. In generall I'll assume most cops are doing their job with professionalism.. That said I sometimes wonder about what could make someone levitate to that line of work.. It's dangerous, hard, and stressful...

Some honorable (Rowin Atkinson) additions to the silly comedy list:
"Johny English" - a spy spoof that's actually funny
"Keeping Mum" - off the wall dark comedy I'd have thought to be a Cohen

Re: Suck it, Detroit....

In both the Ducks sweep and the loss to Calgary the following year, Cujo was definitely not the problem. He played lights out in both series and so did Jiggy and Kipper. Thats what is expected of a goaltender in the playoffs, otherwise, you're not going to go far. In both cases, it was a combinatio...

I am in absolute shock over the west coast trip they just completed. 7-8 possible points? Wow. I still really, really, really, REALLY hope they are sellers at the deadline. What you're saying is logical. But attendance figures really don't like, now do they? I'm guessing you meant lie.... Here is the average att. by month for the blues: October: 11288 November: 9705 December: 12941 January: 11459 Attendance figures don't lie: Despite the Blues recent stretch of being ...

I think that winning games and learning how to beat good team will help this team in the future regardless if they make the playoffs. Guys like Stempy, McClement, Jackman, etc. are learning how to "Murray Hockey" and that to me means next year and the years after will be better than any top 5 pick ...

Wow, I've never seen anyone argue against the saying that winning games puts butts in the seats. Who argued that? A firesale after the way this team has turned it around sends the wrong message to the fans, players, prospects, potential UFAs, coaches, casual fans, potential season ticket hold...
