Re: I hate when this happens...
Well written article, as far as getting to the facts.
Of course, with a copy of WoW it would all make sense.

Re: Leaving Tampa Soon
Maybe they can work their property-value magic on Portland. Because I don't know how we'll afford to live there. Cause Tampa was so cheap? Tampa is murder. I had to take on a second job for six months just to pay our rent. It's ground zero for the sub-prime market and we are on the wrong side of th...

Re: DMB & Black Crowes to play Busch Stadium
DMB band is great live, but who wants to go to such a huge venue? I saw DM at Jesse Auditorium in Columbia and The Black Crowes at the Blue Note. Much more manageable than Bush-frickin-stadium.

Re: Leaving Tampa Soon
I heard it was ground zero for the meth culture of the 80's and 90's.
But what I want to know is are there any colleges and universities of note? I can't seem to find anything but some Catholic parochial and small technical colleges.
I can't get work at either of these.

The clinic is downtown, by where 405 crosses the river. What's a good neighborhood to live in nearby? Vancouver, WA?

Re: Get Fined For Wearing Saggy Pants
As long as their ass crack and privates are covered by cloth of some kind, I can't see how it can be illegal. I hate it as much as anyone, but my parents hated my long hair and big bell Levis in the 70's. The difference is.. This is a fad primarily among blacks.. Therefore it's okay to make it ille...

I call it the "douche angle." You can measure douchebaggery by its severity.

Re: Uno, the first Beagle to win at Westminster
I think 90% of the dogs in Colorado are labs. I've had 2 co-workers with labs, and one was borderline autistic or something and obsessed with tennis balls, and the other is neurotic and slobbers all over himself if left home in his crate. Now that I think about it, one of my friends in high school ...

The world needs ditch diggers too. I say let 'em hang low, it's not like putting a respectable pair of pants on these kids is going to make them any less asshats.
This law just makes them jaded asshats.

Re: Uno, the first Beagle to win at Westminster
Blech. I'm so sick of Yellow Labs. That's all everybody has. Why get what everyone has? I have a black lab and a yellow lab. I've never seen a breed of dog that is so affectionate, loyal, loving, obedient, smart, etc. Great, great dogs. Why wouldn't someone want one? Just b/c they are so familiar. ...
