I think he TRIED to kick it, but his reaction was a little late. It's like by the time he felt it hit his skate, it was already on its way to being deflected when he tried to kick. :plusplus: There was a kicking motion... but not until the puck had already bounced off of and away from his skate.

Strickland mentioned on the radio the other day that Murray has been told that it's time to start playing a more aggressive style of game that takes advantage of the skill on the team. That probably explains why they've been forechecking so much more lately and playing less of a trap.

I don't think that anyone would have wanted to trade him unless something damn good was coming in return. Phil Kessel was one player we supposedly were trying to get for him. As good as Perron has been this season, I don't see him matching Kessel's 36 goals from last year.

Knowing Murray, it would be Berglund that gets sent down, not Winchester.

What top player are we going to trade for? I would have given up quite a bit for Pronger because I think a top defenseman is what this team lacks the most. I'm just not sure what else there is available that really solves our problems.
