Re: WHY DIDN'T J.D. TRADE DOUG WEIGHT?

Isn't Doug Weight going to be a UFA? If he could just sign with another team, I'm confused as to why he wasn't dealt? I like Doug Weight, but he needs to go. He hasn't been up putting up the points he should have. We could have gained a lot from him... after all, he did win the cup last year after ...

I THINK THAT HE DIDN'T GO ANYWHERE BECAUSE HE ISN'T DOING VERY WELL THIS YEAR AND HIS PRICE WOULD STILL BE HIGH BECAUSE OF HIS NAME AND TEAMS DIDN'T WANT TO PAY THE PRICE. ALSO, HE STILL HAS ANOTHER YEAR ON HIS CONTRACT AND HE WANTS TO STAY HERE.

Fox sucks. Period. It has been so obvious all post-season that they have been boosting their radar readings. How pathetic was it that Zumaya got his on "montage" when he entered the game? He's a (Franking) middle reliever for Christ's sake!!! I could go on about Fox's coverage of this post-season fo...

GAME 2 FINAL SCORE: Cards 1 Tigers 3 Series tied 1-1 Cards made it interesting at the end. Oh, and Rogers is a freak of nature.... Do you mean freak as in his ridiculous post-season this year, or the fact that he looks like an intense gym teacher who sodomizes his students when they fail to qualify...

I like the deal. It had to be done. Now if Lar can get a scoring center or winger, it won't look so bad!! Yeah, it will be interesting to see what will be done about the offense. Any chance of the Blues signing Satan or Kariya? Either of them skating with Weight would be nice. SE No chance. At leas...

Now they are saying he signed a 5 year deal at 5.5 million per. ...which by the way is almost exactly what I suggested the Blues offer him, just earlier today. I thought about 5.5 but backed down to 5 million b/c the cap is lowering next year. If this proves to be true I'd be shocked. Very shocked ...

I think it's a good move by the Blues. They now have plenty of cap room to sign offensive forwards, and with Brewer, Jackman, Woywitka, and Backman, you have 4 solid young multi-faceted top 4 material defencemen. They can be an excellent defensive nucleus for years to come.
Agreed
