Ok...I want to know your opinion. Do you REALLY think Tank will be the "dynamic" player we need (a 60-70 pt player..25-35 goals) or do you think he will just slowly fade out. I admit his POTENTIAL is great, but I believe he will never score 150 pts. He gets a ton of "chances", but not the results. O...

Correct me if I am wrong, but we can still get the 4th seed even with an OT loss or SO loss if SJ wins in regulation? We would wind up with 4th spot by virtue of ROW for the tie-breaker.

Unfortunately, the Blues would have to open the checkbook to get those kind of players, and we all know that won't happen.

If I were honest, I would say part of my frustration with the lack of scoring is the fact that I got spoiled watching Brett Hull. We will never see that again...or anything close...by anyone.

Sit Perron! I'm tired of watching him. He stick handles like Henri Richard, but scores like Derek Bekar. Plus, he's always a tough guy with the refs around, but he won't drop the gloves, and great for an offensive zone penalty.

I'm proud the note got the W last night and they played a good 2nd and 3rd period, but we need to win as many of these things in regulation as possible and not give any of the opponents points.

Glad the Blues pulled out the win, but what does everyone think of Perron's play so far in two games? If I'm correct, that's 4 minor penalties and only one shot in two games. IMO, he has to be a factor on the score sheet this season. He doesn't look comfortable out there yet. Any opinions?

Way too many half efforts on clearing attempts. I'm sorry, I don't care if we are up 3-1, Backes, Oshie, and Perron have to put some pucks in the net. We need some goals. Sucks to drag out a series when we could be recharging the batteries for round two.

I spoke with a directv rep on the phone. I was told that it wont have any effect on NHL CENTER ICE PACKAGE. According to what I was told, you will still be able to get Blues games through Center Ice. You can call them and ask them again for clarification if you choose.

I guess I will have 82 games on DVD this season.

I'm so glad the NHL is on NBC. Now I can see even MORE Wings, Flyers, Rangers games...
