At least the Blues know how to shit the bed in style.
You can change all the parts and let a few years past...still a round 2 exit.

Re: Who's goin to step up in round 2
Apparently Stewart stepped up more than any other Blue wearing player.

The board is hard to read and navigate. Couldn't you wait until after the Blues are out of the playoffs?

Kopitar's shorthanded goal is a perfect example of pucks bouncing their way...or not bouncing our way. If you look at the replay, he missed the goal. That puck wasn't going in...it was going parallel to the goal line. But it hit off of Elliott's left pad and redirected in. [youtube]http://www.youtu...

Where did you hear that?ohio BLUES wrote:Halak's out for the series, per Hitch. So, there goes that.
Dude must've got his bell rung pretty good by Jackman.
And agree. Dustin Brown is a punk but the Blues are playing right into his hands. Overall, the team needs to skate and want it more.

Man, I was really hoping #25 could get his game going. We need his size and 'scoring'. How many times has this been said of #25 througout the regular season and through the 1st round of the playoffs?? Give up on him and play someone else, already. #25 has had more than his fair share of opportuniti...

It at least means that there's a good possibility we'll see him some time in this series.sseagle wrote:Ok, I can admit to "wooting" out loud at my desk when I read that pie practiced,

Another thing. I wouldn't mind seeing Reaves in for Arnott. Just for a game. I know Arnott brings the experience, but his play hasn't been that great. If you start Dags in place of Stewart, you lose the physical presence...Reaves might balance that out. So 15 - 17 - 36 for a third and 26 - 12 - 75 ...

JR says it appears Dags may be in for Stewart for game #2. Man, I was really hoping Stewart could get his game going. We need his size and 'scoring'. But Dags might be able to get some quick shots off, which is what the team needs. I like the front line changes (if they they do happen). Those six p...

For long stretches of that game we looked GOOD. But the simple rule of this game is that if you don't capitalize on your chances, you lose. We have one bad reaction to a faceoff from Shattenkirk (with Oshie falling down) give up a terrible odd man rush SH and all of a sudden we're (Frank). HAD to s...

Re: Round 2 : Blues vs Kings
This is going to be one tough series.
IMO, Berglund is key. The Backes line can do their thing, but the Blues need that second line to do some damage. This is of course hoping that Hitch can role his four lines making the Blues the speedier team.

It might be slightly on the excessive side, but I like it. It comes across a little bit as a makeup for not suspending Weber et al, but something significant had to come IMO. Total makeup call. I understand 25 games for a repeat offender, but comparing to the other hits?? NHL caved to the media. Ye...

Excessive to me comparing to the other suspensions (or non-suspensions) given out. Even with Torres' history. This seems like the NHL taking the easy way out.cardsfan04 wrote:Wow, Shanny grew a sack. 25 games for Torres.

Is it possible that Stewart is just a total dunce who can't follow a system or maintain focus? I saw him hustling on the backcheck one time. Maybe he did other things, but I didn't notice them. He should be hitting and hustling. He's doing neither. Bench his pansy ass. :x I'd much rather see Reaves...

Re: GDT: 4/16/12 > Game 3 > Blues @ Sharks > 9:00 PM
I would be interested in seeing a Sobotka-Arnott-Reaves line while leaving the Langenbrunner-Nichol-Crombeen line together. It creates two physical lines and everyone on both lines works. That would not be easy to deal with defensively for an opponent. Then the Blues top two lines get to work again...
