I'd like to hear the explanation on the goal being upheld. I thought that was interference too. Only thing I can think of is that the Bruin player's feet got tangled up with Pietro's and they're calling the contact with Allen as incidental to that.

If he's ready, he's ready, but I'd almost rather him sit on Thursday and come back after the AS break. He's just barely past the minimum time for reevaluation, so an extra week of rest might be good.

I think we ride the hot hand with the hope/expectation of Allen taking back over before the playoffs. Hutton is playing great right now and Allen isn't, but I still see Allen as the guy I want in the playoffs.

I'm not sure what the deal is in the 3rd period, but I don't like it. I think they were doing something similar early in the season too, but pulling games out.

The rough patch we're going through doesn't bother me a ton. Injuries, streaks follow streaks, etc. But, games like last night need to be won. Losses like that are what turn bad stretches into horrible ones, because it's a missed chance to limit the damage.

He looked great last night. Better than I had hoped for.

It might be a hair early since it's been less than half a season. This is about the point we locked Lehtera up to that awful contract after he started hot. But, this doesn't feel fake. It's trending toward an amazing trade and I don't expect that to change.
