I would take King Diamond's guitarist Andy LaRocque over Hammett and/or Hetfield anyday.

Depends on what you're looking for.

For my money, James is the second best rhythm guitarist in metal, second only to Dave Mustaine. As for leads...oh god yes...Andy LaRoque would kill Kirk Hammet...beats Kirk's rhythm playing too.
