Listening to Steve Somers on the drive home from work, he pointed out and I’d forgotten that if Dallas advances, the Rangers get another 1st round pick from the Zuccarello trade.

I don't think its that bad. Blues just seem to try to take a break during the PP. Just outwork the Stars and they just might score. But they are standing around.

Dominate the period, come up empty handed. Swell.

Dang, we held Dallas to 1 shot to our 17 and it's still tied. Hard to feel super positive after that. You have to think Dallas will get at least one PP in the 3rd.

Unless either Bishop flat out chokes or Dallas gets zero shots the rest of the way I’m not confident. Should have put it away that period.

On the plus side we have been pretty good in third periods. On the minus side we really should have come out of the 2nd up at least 1.

We keep missing the franking net.

Makes me nervous when one team (Dallas) has had nothing going on yet we haven't scored.

It feels like we’ll grossly outshoot Dallas and they score on some lucky ass bounce to win.

Thomas is not only setting up a lot of great chances, but he's going to the net, holding his own there. I can't wait until he gains more strength and bulk. I think he'll be a perennial 27-32 goal scorer, in addition to being a 70+ point man.

We've seen that a LOT over the past 15 years. But, I think The Blues will pull this one out. They look like they want it badly. Perron, Maroon, Pietrangelo, Schwartz, Blais, Parayko, Dunn, Barbashev all look like they've gone into an extra gear tonight.

I hope you're right...but we've all been to this rodeo year after year.

The hockey gods are just dicking with us at this point giving us chance after chance without ending in a goal.

We're outshooting Dallas 30 something to 4. If we lose this it'll be yet another Blues Hockey kick in the nads.
