Not true.Aode wrote:Didn't do anything though- the Wild wondeadphish wrote:Another win tonight. The flame still burns....
wait- I thought we were 8 out on the Wild..cprice12 wrote:Not true.Aode wrote:Didn't do anything though- the Wild wondeadphish wrote:Another win tonight. The flame still burns....
We gained a point.
We are 9 pts. out now...Calgary lost and now they are in 8th place.
Let's hope home ice advantage plays a part in all of those games.Tezmyster wrote:Ladder @ 21st Feb:

I would think we would want Minnesota to win now. Don't we want 8,9,&10 teams to lose? Now that the Wild are #7 we want them to beat the #9 Avs so they don't gain ground on #8.cprice12 wrote:Let's hope home ice advantage plays a part in all of those games.Tezmyster wrote:Ladder @ 21st Feb:

part of the reaosn I hate the Red Wings so much is due to the playoff rivalry of the olden days of the 90's so its ironic that the same events garner respect to the Blues,Steve Levy Sucks wrote:I know it probably won't happen, but I would love to see the Blues make the playoffs. I've only been a fan of the NHL and the Wings since 1992, so all of my memories have the Blues in there. No matter what Blues fan says about Wings fan (which is ALWAYS a broad generalization), this Wings fan and the other Wings fans I am friends with and follow hockey like I do, we always followed the Blues as far as the standings would go, and we loved playing them in the playoffs. Not because we always thought it was a sure series win, but because we knew it would be good hockey and a great series. They always were.
I know most of you don't want any Wings fans on here, and most of you don't like SLS (which by the way - I really, really, really don't give a fuck) but I stick around here because I like reading about the Blues and what's going on with them, because as I said, they have played a huge part in my hockey fandom. It is, for the most part, interesting discussion, especially Curt Price's obsession with the Wings and anything that I have to say, and how he has a positive spin on everything Blues, even when it's obvious to the rest of us that he's wearing rose colored glasses.
I don't wear rose colored glasses except during baseball season. Remember baseball season?Steve Levy Sucks wrote:It is, for the most part, interesting discussion, especially Curt Price's obsession with the Wings and anything that I have to say, and how he has a positive spin on everything Blues, even when it's obvious to the rest of us that he's wearing rose colored glasses.

Good times.
And during hockey season, you are mistaken. The rose colored glasses you speak of aren't rose colored, and they aren't worn by me. They are pansy colored and Wings fans wear them.

I'd rather Colorado beat Minnesota in regulation, that would keep 7th place 10 points out. Colorado would still be 6 points out of 8th even with the win.chopper2 wrote:I would think we would want Minnesota to win now. Don't we want 8,9,&10 teams to lose? not that any of this really matters.
Yeah, passing Colorado doesn't mean anything if we never get into the playoffs....and hoping the 7th and 8th place teams lose is the way to go. Better to have two teams real close at 7th and 8th than just one.Tezmyster wrote:I'd rather Colorado beat Minnesota in regulation, that would keep 7th place 10 points out.
