Yeah, but with the way Murray has handled some of the young guys this year, I wanted to wait until I heard the official word to celebrate. :D

What a franking pass by Kariya. Holy cow. Great play...I didn't see who kept it in at the blue line, but that was a great play as well.

Kariya just made the highlight reels for about 5 years on that play.

That line was clicking so much in the 2nd half of the third period. I kept yelling get them back out there. Almost felt like you knew they were finally going to put it in.

I am in Orlando on vacation, and got to watch via SOPcast thanks to cprice's instructions, so thanks fearless leader.

Nice win tonight. A group from the organization I am president of (Beta Alpha Psi) was there tonight, most not big Blues fans, and with the crowd tonight I don't see how many of them could come away not being fans.

Fun game to be at.

Perron may not have scored, but the kid (and I can finally say kid because he is three years younger than I) will finish every hit he lines himself up for. I do not think he gets physically overmatched at all. I saw him take a hit and knock the guy who hit him off balance while he stood up straight. Hes no tough guy... but GD I love watching him play.

I call Shenanigans.

3-2 Blues....call your bookie.
Ok, how much money did everyone win?

Throw 10% of your winnings my way and we'll call it even.

Also - I'd like to echo Perron's excellent play. People are taking notice too. There was a buzz about him at the S-Trade tonight.

And holy shit balls did that place EXPLODE when Boyes scored. WOW!!! It was awesome! It was very festive tonight, a great game to attend, and it will have other more fair weather fans coming back.

Being that it was Al MacInnis night, I could help but reflect upon the idea that Al is 5 days younger than I am.

And, you are right about Perron. I'm glad he is staying up. I think I agree with Bernie when he said that Perron scoring 50+ goals in juniors isn't really anything new for him, and wouldn't aid in his development. Plus, the kid (and I can say kid because my youngest child is 17) doesn't look intimidated out there at all.
