HD Schedule!
Okay, maybe (probably) missing something, but what is the HD coverage looking like this year?
I searched around but couldn't find a schedule that showed which games are in HD on FSN (I hope there is some...all, maybe? dont think we're that lucky).
Anybody know about this mystery?
[edit]: Thread title changed to reflect the awesomeness of all games in HD. I'm pumped (now...hopefully the hockey is as good as the tv quality).

Re: HD Schedule?
Last week when they announced that they were broadcasting a total of 80 games this year they said the HD schedule would be coming soon. I think it was hinted at they would be showing a good deal more than last year, when they showed about 55 or so in HD.

Re: HD Schedule?
I think last year they televised all home games in HD plus an additional 10+ road games. I'd really like to see that number of road games in HD increased.
The technology is available and FSMW should have the bandwidth to broadcast a majority of their contests in HD. No excuse for 70+ games to be in HD.

Re: HD Schedule?
It wasn't all the home games... there was a decent chunk not in HD.
I don't really understand how that works. You either have the equipment to broadcast in HD or your don't. Why would one home game be in HD and the next one not? It was weird...

Re: HD Schedule?
When the TV shed was announced they said the majority of the games would be HD. That could mean 43 technically speaking.

...and yet still not word one about Dish/Blues coming to an agreement.
How much says that they'll suddenly reach an impasse and blame the other party on the day of the season opener?

There was a Dish Manager who called my house and wanted to know how we liked Dish...I called him in all intention to unleash some hell and get some answers but its busy every time I call....just another reason why Dish sucks.Nyghtewynd wrote:...and yet still not word one about Dish/Blues coming to an agreement.

Re: HD Schedule?
It looks like the situation has grown beyond just Blues programming.

I'm guessing this "all in" move by Fox will result in a settlement finally being reached. I find it hard to believe that Dish Network would allow itself to lose that much sports programming (and other programming).

I hate dish. I'm so happy I'll be getting something different soon. I might actually be able to watch blues in HD.

It's annoying how one side always blames the other and says how they don't care about you, the consumer, when both sides are to blame.SIU LAW wrote:It looks like the situation has grown beyond just Blues programming.

Versus did the same thing with DirecTV last year.
Bunch of money hungry asshats.
I'm glad I don't have Dishnet"don't"work.

Re: HD Schedule?
I saw a commercial yesterday on FSN touting "an entire season in HD". So I guess that solves this debate!VictorManthing wrote:http://www.stltoday.com/sports/hockey/p ... 84d3e.htmlFox Sports Midwest is expected to announce Monday that all 75 games carried on the network this season will be in HD.
All games in HD. Woo-hoo!
Re: HD Schedule?
Wow...that is pretty unexpected.
No way I would have guessed all 75 FSMW games would be in HD.
So I guess if you haven't gotten an HD tv yet with HD service, now would be a good time to get that setup.
