ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday the club has activated forward T.J. Oshie from injured reserve.
Oshie has missed 31 games after suffering a fractured left ankle on November 10th in Columbus.
He is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Blues host the Los Angeles Kings at 7 p.m. at Scottrade Center.
Oshie, 24, has registered 10 points including a goal and nine assists in 13 games this year.
The 5’11, 195-pound forward also owns the Blues’ longest point streak this season, a seven-game stretch from October 11th to October 28th during which he accumulated a goal and eight assists.

Damn you! You took the words right outta my mouth!
Do you think Tony LaRussa and Dan McLaughlin were sitting around together today and that was their top discussion of the day?

Oshie played well. You can kinda tell he's not 100% yet, but he's not that far off. Maybe a few more games before he's back in top form? I thought he played well for his first game back. He'd have had a goal if Quick hadn't gotten over and made a very good save.

With the way that Kerber was calling the game, you would have thought he was playing as well as Gretzky in '86.

I think this was basically best case scenario for his return. As already said, you could tell he wasn't 100%, but I think part of that is just from really looking for it. Every time he was on the ice, especially at the beginning of the game, I caught myself watching him instead of the puck.
I might have laughed at somebody a month ago if they thought he could be 100% this season. Now I think it could happen in a few weeks. Or close to 100% anyway.
