Blues Playoff Push 2011!!!!

It isn't the total number of points that we have to overcome that scares me, it's the number of teams between us and those playoff spots.

Not only do you have to get hot, but you need at least 5 teams to play worse then you.

Currently there are seven team with 68 - 63 points (where the Blues are)

And they are all fighting for 2 playoff spots......

I'm not ruling it out, and I'm going to enjoy the run, I'm just keeping my expectations realistic.

They can still make the playoffs, but the push has to already have begun. Can't have any two or three game winless streaks from here on out.

3-0 in the last week, outscoring opponents 15-4, is encouraging. Keep it up today, boys.

They played well in 2 periods and that has been their problem not a full 60 of hockey!!!!! In the 1st period today they should have ahd 3 min more like 4 goals. Goal tending is an issue, if halak doesn't start palyinglike he did last year they will not make the playoffs. Need to see more desperation out of many players. Will take time for the new trades to get in a groove as seen by todays game, against the ducks that was a different deal playing a tired team. The last games will be very important and know they will get a fight from many of them, as the season draws closer to the end ALL teams want to proove something, Halak needs to be much better.

I have my doubts about this years playoffs, Oshie is a dynamic play maker just was out too many games.

Another close game and a loss!!! Playoffs won't be happing unless they can figure out REAL quick how to win close games, that is what the playoffs are all about! Best to regroup and think about next year guys......... Berglund frustrates me at times in the last 2 games had plenty of close in chances and cashes in on very few.

Technically, I still think the Blues have a chance, but it's pretty much over now IMO.

Looking at the 3 games ahead we play Vancouver((Frank)) Edmonton(we suck against young bad teams) and Calgary(hottest team in NHL) basically were fucked.
