Is it just me, or do Pang and Kelly not seem to get along very well? I might be reading too much into it, but they constantly seem to be somewhat irritated with the other anymore.

I mentioned in flashchat that it seems like they're a minute or two away from beating the holy living crap out of each other. Maybe they just have a very dry sense of humor about themselves that none of us can pick up on.

I don't know about you, but I would be pissed too if the guy next to me kept putting his hand on my crotch and talking about Oshie's high firm passes.

Edit: And yes, if a one month sample is representative, the Stewart for Johnson trade (which is how I choose to see it) is the greatest trade ever. Suck it, Johnson. (Wow, that works even better than I thought it would.)

Two guys that talk a lot and love to be the main announcer, I think a lot of announcers don't like Panger...Did you watch the TradeCentre thing TSN did that they showed on NHLN? Panger was on there and it looked like the guy he was next to talking with was really irritated that panger was talking to much.

Erik who?

That was the slickest Blues goal of the year I think. Nice to see Stewart get a skill goal, since it feels like almost every goal he had scored for us was a garbage goal of one sort or another. Not that I was complaining, but WOW, was that an amazing move.

lol, so true. I mean, I love how Pang explains the development of plays, but he needs to have an off switch.

I'm not a big fan of John "Not Ken Wilson" Kelly either though.

I'd rather Bernie came to my house and talked about cabinets for 48 straight hours than listen to Pang every night.

dmiles2186 wrote:Holy Chris Stewart. He now has 22 goals in 46 games. 9 goals in 11 games for Blues. And if I'm not mistaken, his 4th 2 goal game for the Blues.

Have I mentioned how much I love Chris Stewart? You are going to have to pry his sponsorship from my cold, dead hands next year.
If that last goal doesn't make ESPN's top plays, they aren't paying attention. That shot was insane. He backhands a top shelf in an area 6 inches by 6 inches, if even that? Crazy

What's truly ashame.... Chris Stewart made that same move in the 3rd period and Marath can-openered him while Dan "little prick" O'Halloran stared at the blatant trip, caused by Stewart making Marath look stupid, and called nothing.

Blues beat the refs and the BJs last night. Should have a been a clean 2-point win, instead of an OT win, because Stewart likely scores if he isn't tripped.

that comeback was karma at its best for the Blues. They had everything going wrong and yet clawed back and won the game.

I hate using the refs as an excuse for anything but the game they were watching was not the game they were calling.

1. Cole "holding" after getting pushed into his own goalie was bullshit

2. Janssen inferfering with the goalie on Cole's goal that was not allowed was bullshit because Cam was pushed into him. The ref behind the goal called it good. So it was the one 100"+ away that made the call and he should have been able to see the play better than the one that did call it a goal.

3. Jackman's "tripping" was the own fault of the Columbus player not knowing where he was and skating into Jackman. Bullshit again.

I am sure I missed a few others but for these "veteran" refs to call a game like that is beyond silly. They need to be sent into retirement. No excuse for those kinds of calls.
