I mean, I post just about how you'd expect. Not sure why mine would be the one's that would extend, unless it has something to do with quotes stuff (since I do that in every GDT).

dmiles' posts look fine to me on Tapatalk. Everyone's posts look fine.
Post a screen shot please so I can see what you are talking about.

You act like Tapatalk is a huge ass program. It's not. It's 23mb.
The official NHL app is twice that size.
Facebook is 38mb.

If you are out of space on your phone and want to install Tapatalk, delete some photos, uninstall crap apps...clear your cache...or whatever. I'm not sure what else to tell you. You have solutions that you can put in place to use the forum on your phone. It's up to you if you want to do it.

Are you using Tapatalk?
It should prompt you to download it when you go to the forum in a browser on your phone.
The way the forum is configured for integration into the CMS, makes it incompatible with small screens.
The accessible workaround is to use the Tapatalk app. To be honest, it's far better than browsing the forum in a browser on your phone anyway. At least I think so.

On most Android phones you hold down the power button and the down volume for a second or two until it take the screenshot.
If that doesn't work...google your model phone to find out.

I bet the posts that look extra wide are ones with wide signatures.

Yeah, I have an iPhone and half the forum is cut off. Downloaded the ole Tapatalk, but posting videos and images seems to be a little more complicated as you have to get a Tapatalk ID. Plus the "emojis" (is that what kids are calling them?) don't appear.

In terms of simplicity, I wouldn't necessarily give this app an edge. At least with the way it was, I could see everything. Posting isn't any more convenient as far as I can tell.

Having said all that, if you only post from your phone, downloading and using this app isn't the end of the world.

In the end, the reason for all the problems is that the forum is now embedded in a larger LGB stylesheet which appears to not allow it to zoom correctly. Curt, any way you can exempt the forums page from mobile styles? I think that'll cause the forum pages to go back to just not being mobile friendly, but zoomable as before. Problem solved.

Can you cram more shitty ads and boxes for podcasts that follow the header all the way down?

It is impossible to read on my phone now, and i wont use tapatalk if you pay for it, all these improvements... can i post pictures over 600 pixels now or is it just ads and visual stuff?

The images at the top are promoting things for this site...which essentially makes them buttons, not really ads. I don't think that's anything outrageous. It's not like I have ads selling you stuff across the top and down the sides or anything. But I'll see if I can trim it down some.

Tapatalk is a free app. Cost = $0.
I suggest using it to browse on your phone.
I'm working on getting the forum working in a mobile browser...but seriously, Tapatalk works better. It's faster and formatted perfectly for a phone.

Previously, images posted in the forum had a max width of 850px...now it is 800px.
Signature images have increased from 600px wide to 650px wide.

For those that can't figure out how to screen shot on android, I would suggest you find the box it came in and take it back to the store because clearly you need a flip phone.

For those that can't figure out how to use the work around app that was suggested, see above.

All the computing power available to smart phones does not seem to create smart users to match them.

I try to make this place enjoyable for all...as well as visually appealing.
It's a lot of fun...I really enjoy doing it...so it doesn't feel like work, even though the hours put in are substantial.

I'm glad you guys enjoy it here...and your contributions to the forum are appreciated.
I'm working on getting more traffic here. I know it's been steady, but I think we an all agree that it would be nice to get some more quality traffic.

I don't mind the slow down in traffic much - like you said in another thread, the quality has improved. However, this IS an online community. People come and go. New blood needs to come in, or this place will dry up completely. Hopefully the new additions will be more like Kerfuffle and LongDistanceBluesFan, and less like JNE
