I'm no Sid Crosby fan by any stretch, but get your scoring game together, boy.

Only series I picked a sweep in. I guess the 'Guins can have a little good feeling from entering the playoffs off of a win but it was the Sabres...

Rangers in 5...because the league spots the Pens 1 win automatically.

Just to be clear, I would root for any team over the Rags. ANY team.

1994 was a nightmare seeing all those giddy ass Ranger fans going bonkers over what amounted to a team they pieced together using the best players they could poach from every other team. And one Cup championship in 54 years was not a great team, it was a fluke. Now it's one in the last 75 and I'd like to keep that going. I'd rather see the Islanders win it all, seriously.

I am flat out shocked the Rangers were as good in the regular season as they were. Sooner or later their habit of trading picks is going to catch up with them but for this year and maybe next they've obviously decided (management has) that they're going all in. Cup or bust and I think they're a better team this year than they were last year... and they were good last year.

Nash is playing arguably the best hockey of his career, and I can't get enough of the Kevin Hayes story. For anyone not familiar this kid just ran the train through the NHL rulebook to perfectly set himself up in a great situation in NY and had a great year. Rangers get a first round talent without even having to use a draft slot. Incredible.

Kevin Hayes works NHL system perfectly

I don't see the Penguins winning this one. Never should have fired Bylsma.

28 seconds the Pens give one up. Get it together, Pittsburgh. I cannot and will not tolerate another long Rangers run.

I guess not much the Penguins can do when the refs keep doling out the penalties. 2-0 now. Who will the Rangers face in round 2 is the new question.

Rangers are getting a ton of shots, but Pittsburgh just made it 2-1. I don't think Fleury is anywhere near good enough to keep them in the game facing this kind of barrage though. Maybe Lapierre can run Nash or something. Not now, but in the last game of the series.
