Wow really surprised we won this game, I missed it unfortunately.

Don't think we'll be able to keep this up with McDonald now out as well, but 3/4 on that roadtrip is actually not a bad outcome.

Cole looked good in the highlights. Love the slapshot on a 3 on 1, why not.

Can't wait for people to start coming INTO the lineup instead of going OUT of it...

How about D'Agostini? For hardly giving up anything to get him (a busted prospect according to our brass), he sure has made our offensive woes less miserable than they would be otherwise so far this season. And as far as I've seen him live also responsible defensively.

Props to him, keep it up! :goblues:

Which is why when Perron and Oshie were healthy playing on different lines, Steen was no a 3rd line most of the time playing the same way he is playing now. When the Blues are healthy, they have the depth to crush anyone. Problem is depth behind those guys. However, take Malkin and Crosby off of the Penguins for 2+ months (which is what is looking like will be the case for the Blues) and tell me how many games they win. It's hard to win when a team's top forwards are gone.

This is what I have been saying.
When watching the games, people obviously get upset when we're not doing well and talk about how bad this team is...but they forget that we have been killed with injuries and that is blatantly the issue.

When we are healthy, this team can play with anyone...they've proven that. But yeah, in the span of three or four games we lost half a dozen of our best players to injuries...no team can continue to play at a high level with their top 2 or 3 players on both sides of the blueline out for an extended period of time.

We'll just have to see where we are in the standings when we get healthy...whenever that is...if ever.
