Panger on Twitter just now
I know a lot of us have been mentioning that in flashchat and in the GDTs.The Blues give Canucks top players too much respect, back off the lines and allow them to gain zone to easily. No gap closure vs the rush.

I probably am just tormenting myself by looking at this, but only 6 points out of 8th. w/ 27 games go go, that's surmountable for sure.

Scott Ferrall coming through, first at the end of the game ripping on our gay mascot, and now Steen is on live. Howard 101.

Of course they would go and win this game. Douches.
If the Blues topple the Canucks and the fans have lost all hope, is it really a win?

This is what Panger could write every day:
What is annoying is the Blues weren't giving opposing teams to much respect, weren't backing off the line and had excellent gap closure when the season started before the injury bug hit. I have no idea why they continue to play as if the forwards haven't returned from injury. It's baffling.

Like when you're dating some hotter than balls broad and the sex is wild. One night you get royally effed up on Natty Ice and you don't perform too well in the sack and she's none too happy about. You then start questioning yourself and you just can't drill her like you did at first.

I know this comment is coming a bit late, but if anybody saw the game on TV last night, can you believe how whiney the butt-hurt Canucks announcers were over the disallowed goal?
Get over it.
Get over it.

Makes sense that they would have annoying play-by-play guys. It fits in well with their annoying whiney douchey fans. Which are EASILY the most annoying online fanbase after the Red Wings. They might actually be worse then Wings fans actually.

Need to point this out....
Nikitin plays vs Vancouver. The power play works. And the Blues outshoot their opponent. He needs to be on the ice, because for some reason, when he plays, the team actually shoots.
Saw the highlights and some of the saves Luongo made were f'in ridiculous. Game could easily have been 6 or 7-2.
Erik Johnson and Eric Brewer -2 in a game when only two goals were allowed.
Johnson, the Blues supposed future offensive defenseman with supposed decent offensive skills is -10 on the season. Brewer is at least +1 with less total points. IMO, Johnson needs to pull his head out of his arse and start a) using his size defensively and b) shooting the f'in puck with that cannon which isn't fired nearly enough. If he doesn't - trade him for a 40 goal scorer and some depth.
Right now, Pietrangelo is the future of this defense. He a) hits b) is outstanding positionally on defense c) is an outstanding passer, and d) uses all those skills - unlike a certain #1 overall draft pick. There is a reason Pietro is +10 while Johnson is -10 and it's not ice time. Heck, Johnson only played 16 minutes last night and still wound up -2. Pietrangelo was only d-man over 20 minutes vs the Canucks.

How in the BLOODY HELL is it that this team can get up enough to beat the best team (currently, pointwise) in the NHL but they lay down for nearly everyone else? Someone isn't motivated when they think it should be an easy two points, and that's why they're in the crap position they're in right now.

Cam Janssen healthy scratch so Nikitin could play. Maybe that's a friggin' sign, but management probably won't pay attention.glen a richter wrote:How in the BLOODY HELL is it that this team can get up enough to beat the best team (currently, pointwise) in the NHL but they lay down for nearly everyone else? Someone needs to slash Cams tires on game day so he can't make it to the arena. He's a major major problem and a colossal waste of a roster space. That said, however, I still don't get how they can just flat out suck against mediocre teams and they always always play teams like Vancouver tough.

I think that sometimes a "system" that a certain team uses just works really well against some teams and not so well against others. That's why the Avalanche always destroy us every time.glen a richter wrote:Someone needs to slash Cams tires on game day so he can't make it to the arena.
