These late period goals that the Blues give up are absolutely KILLING them. They've given up a goal in the final 2 minutes of a period virtually every game it feels like.
Towards the end of the first period the Blues just looked tired. I don't know if the adrenaline ran out or what but the Hawks weathered the opening flurry and then started taking control.
Great job by the Blues early on holding the blue line.
And I think that's the best period of hockey I've ever seen from Scottie Upshall. I thought he had it with that shot that rang off the post. He got all of it.
After going up 2-0 if the Blues lose this game... I just quit.
