Brouwer needed to bury that. Oh well, though Those don't hurt as much with a 2-goal lead.

Hopefully they're even crankier at the end of the game.

The new Dallas goalie has made some big saves here in the 2nd.

Good 2nd for The Blues, but they had several chances to expand the lead, and failed.

Seems like interference and holding just aren't being called today.

Lucky to be bailed out by that high-sticking penalty. The Blues need to get that goal back quickly and get control of the game. They can't sit back trying to defend.

The Blues are dropping their defencemen back on every entry into the offensive zone (which is almost invariably a dump-in. So, they never have any sustained time in the O-zone. That results in The Stars playing in their zone most of the time. They'll lose the lead like this.

I'd feel a lot better with another Blues goal. Maybe Dallas will make a mistake pressing too hard and we'll get an odd man rush that we bury.

Just knew Dallas would tie it after we decided to play nothing but defense for 18 minutes of the 3rd.

You can't sit back for 9 whole minutes and have a skilled, fast-skating opponent continuously attack your goal.

It's a bad strategy against ANY NHL team. But it's suicide against The Stars. The team should have had a mutiny and not followed Hitch's instructions.
