The Blues' coaches have had almost no time to work with him. Surely he'll improve. He can carry the puck, has speed, and has a good shot. all he has to do is learn how to play defence, and what to do when he doesn't have the puck. It's a lot to do, but, by the 60th to 65th game, he could be contributing significantly (in a very positive way) to help with the playoff run and during the playoffs. He has the desire. He just needs to pay attention, listen and learn, and work hard in practise and in games. I think he'll surprise a lot of people. He must realise that this is probably his last chance to salvage an NHL career. Unlike MPs, he has some good offensive skills to build upon.
