The Blues' have O'Reilly stay on the ice way too long at the beginning of OT backfired, as he was desperate to get off, and The Isles took that opportunity, getting an instant odd-man advantage, and capitalising with a great feeder pass to the streaking Filppula, who beat Binnington just over his left shoulder. Too bad. He and The Blues had played well most of this game.

Yeah, OT was terrible. But overall, this game was probably as good as we could have hoped for- playing the second of back-to-back games against a good team, on the road, down by a goal, stuck with it and scored late to force OT.

4 game point streak!

Drop pass in 3-on-3 is a major no-no when everyone on the opposing team isn't backed off in front of you. Better off circling back and keeping the play in front of you. That's the kind of thing Dunn needs to eliminate from his game.
