Bad turnover leading to a 2 on 1. That wasn't all Halak. Neither was the previous goal...he was screened.

Big deal. The ice side was covered, and he let it in nearside. Make the save.

As better as the team has been, and overall as better as Halak has been, the guy still makes me nervous as a motherfukker.

Are these guys blind? Berglund didn't just overskate the puck. It hit a discarded stick. They've shown it like 5 times and they just don't see it.

Signed, sealed, delivered. (Gotta love Perron giving it up to Stewart for the assist)

And Stewart has 14 points in 32 games. Big whoop, can they trade him for Nash? Straight up, do it Army!

Dammit, It seems like every single night that we win, Chicago also wins. We keep playing really well but just can't seem to gain on the hawks.

Kinda bummed they let the Stars back into the game like that, but a win is a win.

Halak has been better...but not that much better. His numbers have benefited from the improved team play in front of him. The defensive coverage has been outstanding. They make most teams look very ineffective in the offensive zone.
Halak still can't hold on to anything with his glove...he still gives up bad rebounds...and he's still giving up the occasional soft goal.

Elliot is light years better than him right now, which means he should be playing most games. Until Halak's fundamentals improve, the only games He should be starting are those needed to keep Elliot from being overworked.

We were sitting 10 rows up from the ice in the Stars' end - my friend and I would both freak out any time Halak would go down because you could just SEE down his 1 foot wide five-hole. And he was jittery as (Frank), just doesn't look collected at all.

That said, we got a low-angle goal, they got one too. In the end, the Blues dominated most of that game, the building was decently loud, and we got a good (Franking) win.

(Franking) LOVED Perron skating ALL the way down to the other end to fetch the puck for Grachev's first NHL goal after I think a Dallas player shot it down the ice, way classy.

He did get boarded pretty hard. Completely astonishing missed call. Glad he stood up for himself, we have a good enough PK to where we have to make sure we handle bullshit like that.
