The Blues had better not try to sit on this 1-goal lead for the last 8 minutes. They started doing that 2 minutes ago. Better to pressure The Bruins in their own zone. We seem to have the legs left to do that.

Not so unsurprisingly, the refs don't make any of the BS calls they made in the prior 3 games, the Blues win.

Of course, the return of Oskar Sundqvist was huge. Cannot underestimate his value.

Sundqvist should have been one of the three stars. It doesn't always have to be all the guys with points.

OMG, the shorty against. The Blues controlled play so damn long. We were inches away from scoring a shorty but it slides just wide and Binny is inches away from catching he shg against. My faith waivered. Then the 3rd is looking good, we are controlling play. Came out to play... but we get that penalty against, and there is a TV timeout so they are clearing the ice, so the Bruins get clean ice for a pp. I told my Dad, "This is the series right here." Then we kill it off, and take the lead. Then, with the lead, we continue to pressure (!!!). We turtled slightly, not taking high risk chances deep in Boston's end, but sustained some offensive pressure, and beat them up in the neutral zone. Then Schenner with the nice steal for the ENG... but here is the kicker...

THEY SHOW SCOTT BAKULA ON THE SCREEN AND THE BLUES SCORE THEIR 3RD GOAL RIGHT AFTER! PEOPLE, SCOTT BAKULA IS HERE TO RIGHT A WRONG AND BRING THE BLUES THEIR FIRST CUP BEFORE HE CAN LEAP!

Obviously the solution is to get them down to 5 d. The game plan should be hit any bruins defenseman in the face with a slap shot and go from there.

Hey, it worked in the Sharks series. By the time we got to Games 5 and 6, the Sharks were so banged up they had trouble putting an effective team on the ice.

Boston is not as bad off as San Jose, though, so Game 5 in this series is going to be way different than Game 5 against the Sharks.

Just keep it going.

ROR converting the wrap-a-round less than a min in was huge and Binner came back and does what Binner do.

Wow what a game last night! I loved that part in the 2nd period around the 9min mark - the Blues dominated with the puck in the offensive zone for like 2 min - Boston couldn't get their guys off the ice. What a turnaround from a lackluster effort in game 3. Damn what did your coach tell the players for game 4? They had a jump in their step for game 4 - high energy - hitting - desperation. Did someone spike their drinks? That's coaching - Berube finds a way to connect with these guys. After game 3 I thought this may end in 5. But after game 4 I think the Blues have the edge now. Happy for my friends here too. This is a fun series.
