Let's Go Blues

Not surprised. Both Blues and Kings have "weak" schedules the rest of the season and we all know how the Blues play vs weak opponents. Why give up a chance at a college championship for a likely not even happening playoff run? It also benefits the Blues longer term since his ELC won't start.

Dylan Peterson signed an ELC. Curious to see if he can round out into a solid bottom 6 piece.

Kaskimaki signed an ELC, good to be getting all these guys under contract and team control. I don't know how much to expect from him but hopefully he'll wander on over to North America and we can see some development in Springfield for a future middle six role.

Pekarcik also signed his ELC. There's a kid I'm excited to see how he pans out. I think he was a steal at his draft spot and could easily be a top 6 in a few years.

I like the two-way deals. If they work out, great! If they don't these deals won't break the bank.

And now Jakub Stancl. I’m curious how many of the recent ELC’s will be playing in Springfield next season and what Konawalchuk can do with them.
