Unlike last year, they're heading on the road healthy and the goaltending looks on point. Can't say enough about Jake Allen.

The baffling stat is that Oshie has only 7 postseason points in 25 postseason games, or something crazy like that. That's borderline trade bait for me.

Refs sucked again. Michalek got a penalty for being pulled down. That's a new one. Dubnyk should have gotten a penalty for all the whacking he did to Ott. The Blues played very disciplined compared to game one. That was good to see. Now they know how to play the Wild. They just need to play their game and they will take this series.

Yeah, the Michalek penalty was horrible. He was hit on a reverse hit, both players go down and Michalek gets the penalty for interference. That was a God awful call.

What was worse was the commentary on NBC about that play...they said Michalek should have gotten a penalty for taking out the legs of the Wild player and the Wild player should have got a penalty for interference...which was horrible analysis...that isn't what happened at all. Michalek didn't try to take his legs out...his legs didn't even make contact. He got hit and he went down. I would have been fine with no penalty on the play...but if you had to call a penalty, the only one you can call is on the Wild player for interference. But if you call that, then you can call a lot of reverse hits interference. Granted, this was maybe 8-10ft from the puck and neither player had touched the puck yet...so interference on the Wild would have been the right call if you have to make a call there.

Obviously this was a much better game for the Blues.
- They got a PP goal against the Wild's superb PK.
- Allen was stellar again.
- Dubnyk allowed a softie. He has been good, but his numbers in this series aren't what they need to be for the Wild to win this series. That's good to see.
- Tarasenko was being Tarasenko.
- We got a couple bounces...the shot off the crossbar, then off Allen's back that Backes kept out, and the goofy bounce off the glass that hit Allen's pad before he recovered and kept it out.
- Ott is hilarious. And like they said on tv, if he was on the other team, I'd hate his guts...but he is on our team and his antics make me smile. So it is what it is. This is why Ott is on the team. To get under the skin of the other team and bang around on the ice. He does it well.
- It was good to see Berglund net a big goal. He hadn't done much in the game up until that point...but that's all we need of him. Get an occasional goal and don't F-up in our own zone.
- I'm still not comfortable with the quality of chances we are giving up. Allen was great so it didn't hurt us in this game, but the Wild could have easily scored a couple more today. A bit uncharacteristic...hopefully they clean that up.

Monday can't come soon enough.

I wanted to get tickets to game #1 or #2, but my schedule wouldn't allow it.
But I will most certainly be going to game #5 as I am free that night...at least I am until the wife schedules something.

Strader tried to correct Engblom on the Michayluk call, but couldn't cut through Engblom's bias. And Engblom has as bad, if not worse, an anti-St. Louis bias as Olczyk.

Also, there should have been a too many men call when Dubnyk dove back for the save when trying to leave the ice. His replacement didn't make it off the ice when Dubnyk made the save. Clear video of the 6th man on the ice while the save was made is shown in a replay. Of course, no one on the National Blackhawks Crew mentioned it.

Tarasenko is a beast.

I really like how physical we were especially in the first period. I'd like to see more of that. It's been mentioned a few times, but I really like how Ott is playing. When he's out there, he's constantly in the middle of things.
