Rivermen Update

Here a couple bits and pieces regarding the Peoria Rivermen from today's
PJStar.....
Dallas to place no more then 4 players with Peoria....no goalie. They also could place 1 assistant coach with the Rivermen.
Peoria assistant coach Davis Payne is closing in on the vacant Rivermen head-coaching position. (With the addition of a Dallas assistant there is no need for 3 in Peoria.) Payne will be running the Blues annual prospects development camp this week in St. Louis.
Blues' purchase of the Rivermen is headed toward an early-July closing
Blues will decide in the next couple of weeks whether they will offer Chris Beckford-Tseu another contract. (Could they tag him again for Anchorage?)
