still though- agreed. Worst fans in hockey. Mildly impressed that the majority stuck around for the cup to be presented but still.

Also, I didn't hear Bettman offer congrats to Detroit on their season. I might have missed it, but that's usually standard procedure. He was so giddy to give Crosby the Cup, he must have forgot (for the conspiracy theorists) :lol:

Yea, he just said congrats to both teams on a great series. He had a boner that entire time. I'm sure he was also flattered that Crosby didn't just rip the cup away from him like Brind'Amour did :lol:

It's all staged...like wrestling.

Its sad, it was a game 7 stanley cup game and there were a bunch of empty seats. Hockeytown my ass. Bunch of sorry losers booing Pittsburgh, or maybe booing Detroit for not winning it.

If teams aren't expected to cheer when their teams lose a playoff series and their season ends, then why did the Blues get a standing ovation when they were swept in the first round? Why did the caps get the same, when they were knocked out by the hated Penguins. You'd think the fans of a team like Detroit would have the MOST class considering how good their team is and how they are always a contender. What I saw was a bunch of spoiled brats!
