Miklasz Twitter:
Jarmo on the Bernie Show: Blues interested in trading 2nd R pick to get extra picks in the 3rd R. also: may trade down from 17 in 1st R.

They can't afford him.

It really does suck that a lockout/armageddon scenario still left us in a position that a legendary team like the Bruins has to consider trading a 21 year old scoring phenom.

A whole lot of hearbreak seemed to effectuate very little actual change...

This site crashes everytime I try to posts JR's Morning Skate. It's about the Blues trying to get Harding for a package of prospects, but the Wild want an established NHL forward. As of this afternoon, nothing was in the works between the two.

Dreger is reporting Niedermayer is coming back for another season. This seems like the trigger that would move Pronger tonight.

*shrug

If Jarmo doesn't have anyone in the middle of the first round that he HAS to have and has no problem with the guys likely available in picks 20-30 or even lower- Why Not? GM has to work w/ the scout to know exactly what you're looking at. If nobody that much more exciting is at 17 that wouldn't be around at 30; F it. Get more for your money.

although let's wait to see what they gave up before judging. But I agree, if he was up for grabs and we didn't put in a legit offer I'll be one POMF

Bettman doesn't have the slightest clue what he's saying. That f-er can't speak a lick of French!

We couldn't get Pronger without giving up one of Oshie or Perron. Let's just hope Pronger doesn't sign an extension.

To Philadelphia: Pronger
To Anaheim: Lupul, Sbisa, two #1's

That's a haul! Good no move.

Everyone I've ever talked to that's connected to Pronger has always said he intended to TRY and sign back here again after 09-10 season.

Is every f'ing team going to get on their knees and suck Montreal's c*ck before their pick? This is only the 2nd pick and it already makes me sick.

They need to speed this up- seriously.

It wouldn't surprise me if every single NHL team has a French speaker up there with them doin this crap. I would say get used to unfortunately :?

That's a lot to give up if they don't think they are going to get an extension with Prongs.
