Probably just a one year deal. If not then Tallon just f'd up your off season next year!

Yep. But really... what's he going to say?

I'm interested in seeing the next contract he'll get.

Makes you wonder who Hossa will whore himself to next year.

Nice deal. Blues still have roughly $5M to spend to the cap.

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

No, I said if we throw 4 million at Ohlund or who ever it was you were clamoring for. Then we'd only have 500K to spend on a goalie and still be comfortably under the cap. asshat.

btw, your avatar doesn't do your comments any favors.

Darren Dreger: Hossa's deal heavily front loaded. 53 mil for the first 7 years of the 12 yr deal.

Blues have around $5-6M to use now after the Conklin signing.

Very true. How much did crombeen and wagner go for.

I imagine if they can get Polak in the $1.5 area, they are set. If not, they might have to spend up to $3M for a veteran.

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

So basically he signed an 8 year contract at $7.4M per year, but the cap hit is $5.23M.

They need to put an end to this crap.

Leaguewide armageddon and we're right back where we started.

Glad to see the commissioner's office could actually break the NHLPA and still manage to !@#$ it up.

I'm looking forward to another lockout in 5 years.
[Aode] 10:34 pm: well, if I find cornhole anywhere, I'll try it and let you know

It could always be worse, I could be a Cubs fan. (But please, if you could spare me the parallels between the respective organizations, I'd really appreciate it).
