This jersey is a very special Game Worn Used St Louis Blues jersey worn during the 2003-2004 season. This jersey was worn by Mike Danton during his last NHL season. In spring 2004, two days after the Blues were eliminated from the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs by the San Jose Sharks, Danton was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder. On July 16, 2004, he pled guilty to attempting to hire a hitman, who was actually a police dispatcher, to murder David Frost, his agent. To this day, however, Frost denies that he was the target. This home jersey is Mike Danton's first with the Blues. Worn from the preseason and two regular season games. This jersey has been photomatched multiple times. One of which is the media guide from the season which I will include. Danton had 2 fights during the preseason in this jersey and the wear shows it. The neck has been torn down and resewn, Both sleeves have good board burns and both have also been custom shortened. Front hem has pilling along with board paint and a few good puck and stick marks. Shoulders have a few board burns. Not muh on the back. Fightstrap has also been shortened. Jersey is a size 54. Purchased from Meigray.LOA Included

Q: Tried to kill his agent. What a selling point. You are fucked up!
A: It's true that is why he went to federal prison. Too bad he asked a police dispatcher to do it
