I hope "the Eagle" does well.
Quotes can be fun, as expressed here.
I like the move a lot, I think that Eddie will be a great consultant. But what is with all of the former Hawks goalies invading the Blues? First Pang now Belfour?! They're taking us down from the inside!

If Hull can be a Red Wing, Eddie the Eagle can be a part of the Blues the way he is now. Great move. The goalies will listen to a guy who has been in net for a Stanley Cup winner.

You mean they didn't listen to Manny while he was down there last season?

Good move! Belfour will work with the young goalies in camp, AND (unlike Allain) , WILL also vist The Rivs in 5-7 day stints, regularly (and as needed) throughout the season. This will allow Wamsley to stay with The Blues ALL SEASON LONG. This will be much better coverage. Lots of help for unsure Toivi, and for Bishop (who needs someone to point out his positioning and anticipation errors. He's got a long way to go yet on technique, and I like having someone on his case, and there to give advice. I don't want another Schwarz situation (just sort of a let him "sink or swim" attitude). Young, talented goalies need to be watched and brought along with confidence. They are too valuable an asset to just be left on their own, and then cast off, if they look like they aren't progressing.
