Tom Casey reported it on ESPN radio yesterday afternoon.

So...what about Steen and Crombeen. Two spare forwards in the pressbox?

Is this just a technicality because King's injury runs up to opening night?
I don't understand the reasoning for having both of these guys? Neither are any good at actual hockey. They punch people in the face pretty good but that's about it.

Injuries happen.. We saw that last year with King. And besides outside of a game or two here and there, it isn't like one of them isn't going to be sitting in the pressbox every night. Especially if Eller or another forward really impresses down in Peoria. And what are we wasting on the cap by keeping them? 500k?

Later for the whole "he's from STL" thing. The key for an enforcer is to KICK ASS! I don't want to see Cam get his head taken off by a Parros or Carcillo because he just can not climb into the big leagues. DJ does exactly what we want an enforcer to do, stop all of the stupid liberties some players take against the better skilled players.

That being said, if both are on the team, DJ fights the heavyweight then Cam can then get the penalties etc and scrap while DJ is cooling his heels for 5 minutes.
