Game 1 vs Blues on Vs.
Game 3 vs 'Hawks on Vs.
Game 4 vs Caps on Vs.
Game 5 vs Sabres on Vs.

Anyone see anything wrong with this picture?

[aside]Glad it's not the Blues, because I don't get Vs here.[/aside]

I could say that any hockey is better than no hockey but in this case I'm not sure that's a good argument.

Around January or February, it'll no doubt be the Pittsburgh Penguins network. We're lucky that VS can only show each team like 9 times a year, or it really would be DET and PIT every Monday and Tuesday.

Rangers, Red Wings, Caps and Penguins all the time. Same goes for NBC.

Neither of these games were on VS, or I wouldn't have been able to watch them (DTV).

More like paranoia. ANY network is going to broadcast what gets better ratings...if you owned ESPN would you go with A's vs Rangers or Red Sox/Yanks? Hockey struggles to get a blip on the ratings chart...expect to see teams with current cache. For now that is Wings/Pens, etc

So the Wings are the current high rating team? I'm looking at their arena during the Kings game right now (thanks, Directv!) and there are about 40 people in attendance.
