And that's losses to Atlanta, LA, and Phoenix. Phoenix is not even an NHL team.

I wanna agree but it has to be obvious to be called a non goal after the refs ruled a goal. Too close to call

Glad i stayed up until 11:30 to see that goal...

All i gotta say is our defensmen played terrible in the third. Too many odd man rushes, lost us the game.

-Stop putting Paul Kariya on the point on the power-play. The guy is useless there.

-When will the Mike Weaver experiment be over in St. Louis?

-Scratch Patrik Berglund? Scratch T.J. Oshie. The guy hasn't been bad; he has been non-existent.

Yea, too close to call... but I think the rule should be...

If your top hand is moving towards the goal (blade of the stick is moving away from goal, or not at all) and knocks the puck in... then it's NO GOAL. However, if the bottom hand is moving towards the goal (blade of the stick is moving towards the goal) and knocks it in... then the goal is GOOD.

Hope that make sense, I dunno.

Bunch of crap. The Blues deserved to win that game.

Not just the last play, but the whole thing. BULLSHIT.

not sure if this has already been mentioned, but the announced attendance was 6,899. Ridiculous that they have a team. The Hurricanes brought in more people than that when their arena was an hour away from the city...

Another terrible game. Once again, we show life in spurts, just to fall apart. Even when we were looking good (forechecking, cycling the puck, getting shots, holding the zone), we still managed to give up odd man rushes and good scoring chances. This team is very up and down. Honestly, we should've lost 2-1 in regulation. Kariya's goal was a fluke. I was hoping we'd score another and win 3-1 so it felt more legitimate. I stayed up past my bed time to watch us lose. That didn't make me very happy last night and made it hard to fall asleep. :x

Is Sydor's job to make Brewer's 4.5 mill look like a good investment.

He may cost more money, but he's not costing games!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question: Who was worse last night.......Sydor, Weaver, or Oshie?

From ESPN: There were approximately 5,000 fans in attendance, below the 6,899 official attendance figure given by the team that includes unused season tickets.

Wow, that sucks.

I get the immediate impression that I'm glad the game was on too late and I couldn't watch/listen or whatever it is I end up doing depending on the mood of the webmaster over at atdhe.net.

What I can do is parrot Curt on this one. There's no goddamn way this team should be scoring so little. I understand that the 2 games against Detroit were against less than stellar goaltending, but there's no excuse for not scoring 4 every night with the talent on this team. Pietrangelo should be playing if his forte is offense, Junland should be up if his forte is offense which I reckon it is. The defensive aspects of both their games won't come along if they're not playing, and the offensive bump they should offer right away will most definitely help.

If this team is going to continue to draft defencemen as a top priority, there's going to be a massive logjam at the position and they'll have to weed out those who belong in the system and those who don't. They can't all stay. For my money, they should be pushing defencemen who can provide a pop in the scoreboard. Johnson, Pietrangelo, Junland, Cole (someday), I don't know what Rundblad's deal is but I think he's supposed to have some good offensive pop.

Weaver, Strachan, Jackman, Sydor appear to be of no long term use to this team. Maybe 1 of them as an extra for injury.

I think it's time to make a trade. This team is all depth without much real starpower. It might sound good on paper, but I think they need that "go-to" guy.
