It's only the first period currently but Bernie hasn't talked at all! No more "how's it look down there, Bernie?" I guess the execs realized Bernie was talking too much last game, and asked Panger and Kelly to stop talking to Bernie. Wow. He's already completely phased out.

Bernie's not traveling this year... he's in the STL studio with Pat Parris.

Away game broadcasts are going to be great.

I noticed Bernie's absence, and man it was wonderful not to have him on. His post game was fine, but Panger is a big upgrade in the booth. Sorry, Bernie.

Has Bernie always sucked so bad on the broadcast or has he gotten worse in the last couple years?

They're all horrible, I would kill for some actual play-by-play calling from Kelly.

I like Kerber and Chase...put them on TV once in a while!

Last year some times I'd stream the game on the laptop and pause the DirecTV broadcast to sync them up just so I can listen to Chris and Kelly, just for the change of pace.

Bernie plays golf everyday and gets a check for being a Blues legend and he earned it. He was HORRIFIC as a color guy. Let sleeping dogs lie.

yea, i was thinking about this thing:
http://www.sportsyncradio.com/
but 40 bones is a little much for a freaking radio.
its the best solution i've found though, and i may just bite the bullet.
i hate jon kelly, he is absolutely awful and anyone (including bernie) is better than him.
[Edit]: oh yea, you can hook it to your stereo too...

Hell, I bet Ramage would have been better on play by play.

I know that's going pretty far, but I realy hate Kelly,

Thank god I'm at the home games and only have to listen to him half the time.

Little bit better for the Blues ....

Mason has been absolutely fantastic. Nice to see a goaltender who gives you a chance in games you dont deserve to competing in playing for the Blues.
